Clinical approach, visible results

My goal is not to change your expression but to enhance the best of it: reducing wrinkles, improving texture, restoring volume and bringing back luminosity without surgery.

What it is and when it makes sense

Facial harmonization is not a single treatment: it is a way of working. It means thinking of the face as a set of proportions and balances — not a sum of independent zones — and deciding where to intervene so that the result is coherent with who you are.

It makes sense when something breaks your facial proportion: a receding chin, an oval that has lost definition, a nose that pulls the eye, cheeks that have descended. And also when an aesthetic need can only be resolved by thinking of the whole, not an isolated zone.

It does not make sense as a way of "looking like someone" or chasing a universal ideal. The golden ratio is a clinical reference, not a copy. Good harmonization starts by reading your face — not by applying a template to it.

My approach

Before proposing anything I study your face at rest, in motion and from several angles. I analyse which zone holds the balance, which breaks it and what room your anatomy allows. The same injection can rejuvenate a face or disfigure it depending on the exact point and quantity — and that decision is not made by the product, it is made by judgement.

I work with whichever techniques the assessment calls for: hyaluronic acid for volume and contour, botulinum toxin to modulate expression, biostimulators when skin quality is lacking, threads in specific cases. No technique is superior on its own — each has a place and a moment.

What the consultation looks like

The first visit is an assessment. I listen to what concerns you, study your face and propose a realistic plan with what makes sense to do now, what can wait, and what is better left alone. Harmonization is rarely a single treatment: it is usually a staged plan thought in months, not in one session.

If we decide to move forward, each intervention takes place when the plan calls for it. Topical anaesthesia is used when appropriate and sessions are outpatient. Follow-up at 2–3 weeks lets me see the real result and adjust before moving to the next stage.

What to expect and how long results last

The immediate effect is visible from the session, but the definitive result is seen at 2–3 weeks, once the product integrates and residual inflammation subsides. Duration depends on the technique: hyaluronic acid fillers last between 9 and 18 months depending on zone; botulinum toxin between 3 and 5 months; biostimulators work over 12–24 months, though their effect is felt more gradually.

A well-planned harmonization does not force you to repeat indefinitely. The goal is to support your evolution, not to depend on the treatment. With a coherent plan, intervals between touch-ups gradually widen.

When I do not recommend harmonization

I do not treat when the aesthetic request hides something else: expectations no technique can meet, a deep rejection of one's own face that no product resolves, or a goal of "transformation" that would break identity. Saying no is as much a part of the treatment as saying yes.

Nor when active medical contraindications are present — autoimmune disease flares, infection in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding — or when the result you are looking for does not match what the anatomy allows. In those cases we talk openly before starting.

Frequently asked questions

Is harmonization the same as hyaluronic acid?

No. Hyaluronic acid is a technique; harmonization is an approach that may or may not include it. In many cases the best result comes from combining techniques — and sometimes hyaluronic acid is not needed at all.

Is everything done in one session?

Rarely. A coherent harmonization is usually staged, assessing the response to each intervention before moving on. Doing everything at once increases risk and removes the ability to adjust.

Will people notice I have had something done?

The goal is the opposite. A well-planned treatment leads people to find you "rested", not to notice that you have been to a clinic. If it starts to show, we have gone too far.

Are the results reversible?

Hyaluronic acid treatments are — there is an enzyme that dissolves it. Botulinum toxin fades with time. Biostimulators work on your own collagen and their result is longer-lasting but also more gradual.

Every treatment begins with a good decision.

Book your medical assessment and we will discuss together whether this treatment makes sense for you — or whether another option is a better fit for your case.
